Floating candles and river rocks set up Danielle and David's nature-inspired wedding celebration.

Location: Thunderbird Lodge, Lake Tahoe
One year later, Lake Tahoe replaced the Pacific for their wedding at Thunderbird Lodge. Danielle and David spent many weekends frolicking on the lake and felt it was a natural choice for their wedding. "Tahoe is magical," Danielle says. "We had to do little to improve on the stunning setting." After-dinner dancing took place in the rustic two-story lodge.

Danielle and David chose simple, monochromatic flower arrangements to complement the vistas. But nature didn‘t dictate all the decisions -- Danielle based her floral palette on the sassy bright pink bridesmaid dresses she fell in love with. Six attendants carried baby-pink bouquets of their favorite flowers, while Danielle carried freesia with baby roses and baby calla lilies in light to deep shades of pink. The couple tossed a blossom in the water, a Tahoe wedding tradition, at the end of the ceremony.

The Bride Danielle Fisher, 28
The Groom David Cole, 28
The Date June 20

David Cole planned three surprises for his college sweetheart Danielle Fisher: a weekend away, a rented beach house, and an elaborate scavenger hunt. The biggest bombshell was still to come, though, as David waited for Danielle with roses and a ring, on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
